A delightful small landscape, very probably of a location on the Berkshire/Oxfordshire borders, which is very similar to another work which we have titled Rural landscape, sunrise (no. 0136). Another example of how David Rolt would frequently return to the same location, often several times, to capture the scene at different times of day.
